:: Attain your goals through life balance..

Every individual desires success in life, though, the definition of success itself may differ from person to person.  Whatever your personal definition of success – be it career growth, material prosperity, good health, or peace of mind – you can attain your goals if your physical, mental and spiritual energies are channelised properly, working together in synergy towards one common purpose.

Team Jeevaniyam presents the following simple tips to maintain the life balance so vital on your accelerated journey to your goals in life :

As the saying goes,  “Early to bed and early to rise”.  Start the day early, by waking  up before Sun-rise and ending it early too, before late nights. This is the first step in bringing life back on rails, as Mother Nature intended it and it harmonises your bio-clocks back with its natural rhythm lost in our urban existence.  Waking up before the birds do lets you experience the cool and fresh dawn as it breaks and fills your mind with a stillness and joy that lingers for a long time.  Meditating and practicing Yoga and Pranayama in the early hours braces you up for the challenges of the day. Drink a glass of warm water after you wake up to trigger bowel movements naturally.  In Ayurveda, there is as much emphasis on clear bowels as on the kind of food that one eats.

Be aware of the triads of life -  food, sleep and sex -  three determinants of physical and mental well-being.  They can directly impact the quality of your life and the progress towards your goals.

You might be familiar with various dietary prescriptions for the food you ought to consume, like   rich in protein, low in  carbohydrate content etc. But, are you also aware that the food you eat also influences the state of your mind (sathwa,  rajo,  thamo gunna of manas, or,  the qualities of divinity, humanity and sub-humanity) which determine your moods,  behaviour etc ?  (mind) as detailed in Ayurveda?  To address this key issue,  Jeevaniyam can give you a tailored diet chart considering your constitution (prakrithi), nature of  work,  season etc.
Sleep-Just as any machine requires rest, your mind and body also requires rest. This is achieved only after a sound sleep so when you slide into sleep keep your mind free from all calculations and thoughts.

Sex-The importance of sex is known from the time of Veda and so explained in the Indian sciences. As you are aware of the conectiveness, interdependence between mind, and body,a healthy hygienic sexual practice not just throws away your tensions, worries and gives relaxation to mind, but also burns your calory and thus enhances your healthy life span. Here Jeevaniyam reaches your door as a friend and guide.Besides these triads of life, Acharya also explains the role of exercise to keep you physically, mentally and spiritually fit and help you attain your goal.

Exercise- One should do exercise considering his constitution (prakrithi), and stamina (bala). Daily practice of yoga and pranayama can keep your body in shape and balance your cholesterol, sugar and pressure levels.

Besides these, Yoga can influences your mood and temper.

Scientific studies have proven that performing Pranayama can stimulate the release of beta endorphins (happy hormones) in your body.
The daily practice of abhyangam(hot water bath), dental and oral hygiene, care for skin and hair are also very important in achieving a healthy mind and body.

Since a samavayee bandha (interdependency) exists between manas [mind] and sareera[body] one cannot remain robust and healthy independent of the other. A proper knowledge on this inter dependency can help a lot in leading a successful life.  But then, each person has a different equilibrium point and needs guidance to  discover this tipping point.
Jeevaniyam as a friend and philosopher reaches you the requisite inputs to attain a state of physical and mental happiness.
